The City of Leduc is pleased to announce the successful start-up of the Community Safety Advisory Committee (CSAC). The driving force of the committee comes from the 2012 Policing Model Review that recommended the City of Leduc broaden community based policing, to include a more holistic Community Safety approach. Committee members represent key sectors of the community, including City Council, Fire, Police, Enforcement Services, Health, and Education, seniors, Business, Youth and the community at large. Our primary goal is to establish and reach community safety program targets. This will be accomplished with a team approach and objective focused program.
The involvement of the City of Leduc with CRISP is consistant with and an enhancement to our overall safety vision.
